😱 Unwanted Gym Buddy [My True Story]
Living in Hawaii, I didn’t have to worry about snakes.
But living down along the shore, there were a whole bunch of creepy crawlers.
There were millipedes, scorpions, and worst of all, centipedes.
The centipedes were either small blue ones or long eight-inch red ones.
Fun Fact: The small blue ones actually had a bit more of a kick when they bit you.
Anyway, one of the things I tried to do every morning in Hawaii was work out.
When I went to the gym, I would work out for approximately one to two hours and then get on with my day.
I hurt my knee a week before, so I was wearing a knee brace when going to the gym.
One day, I decided to catch up on some reading at night.
I could feel something looking at me.
I looked up from my bed, and a long, red centipede was hanging down directly over my face.
I was freaked!!!
I knocked the centipede down onto the floor where it quickly scurried underneath my bed.
I went to look for it underneath my bed to finish the job, but it had disappeared.
I could barely sleep that night.
The next day, I was about to start my day.
My usual routine was throwing my knee brace on in the morning, having a quick breakfast, and then heading to the gym.
When I did it this time, I felt this weird movement on the back of my leg…
Sure enough, the giant centipede from the night before had gotten into the back of my leg brace.
I shook it out as fast as I could.
I didn’t feel anything, which was very bizarre.
The next day, I came out for breakfast, and my friend said, “What the hell is on the back of your leg?!”
I turned around, and there were seven GIANT boils on the back of my leg.
When I looked closer, you could see that they were the seven bite marks from that stupid centipede.
They were more itchy than anything, but it was quite the surprise.
Anyway, it’s something you have to live with here in Hawaii.
It really shows how even taking 2 seconds to check a gym bag or a pair of shoes can change your whole morning.
Those small precautions you take might seem unnecessary 99% of the time, but that 1%… you’ll be thanking yourself.
This reminds me of product inspections, anyone else?

THE 1 SHEET EVERY AMAZON SELLER NEEDS
The following is a great spreadsheet I found from Jungle Scout to track when your COGS change.
This is essential if you want to accurately track & analyze your per-unit ROI, net margin, and ACoS.
This will track many useful things, such as:
✅ Manufacturing Time
✅ Shipping Time
✅ Total COGS per shipment
✅ Per-unit COGS
✅ Breakeven ACoS
Video Walkthrough - This is NOT a sponsored post, I just think this is valuable content.
The first section you’ll see is the Order Detail section in blue. They are split up into two sections, the manufacturing and the shipping section.
Next, the Total Cost - This is where you look at your units ordered. Look at the manufacturing costs, any miscellaneous costs you may have, and then your shipping costs, which will give you your total COGS.
Per Unit Cost - This is really dividing your units ordered by all these totals over here. This gives you all important total cost of goods per unit column.
Breakeven ACoS Calculator - When you analyze your net margin or your ROI, things are going to change. That's why you have this breakeven ACOS calculator here.
First In First Out Inventory Valuation - Use this sheet to know when exactly to update our COGS is this sheet right here.
